The Gemma Vittles Vault is a great container to build a DIY kayak livewell. The angled opening can be oriented so it is easy to reach in with your hand or a bait net. There are several videos that show you how to rig the vittles vault as a kayak livewell. We recommend a 12v pump and a 6v battery. A 10AH battery will last you all day. The lower voltage will reduce the amount of water flow by about 50% but it also lowers the amp draw as well. If you have used the vault as a livewell, please rate it below.
