Don’t be afraid to drill or cut holes in your kayak

I’ve have always been tentative about drilling holes in my kayaks. It’s one of those times when you need to measure twice and once more for good measure before you even pick up the drill. If you are going to drill be sure you have the right size drill bit. 5/16″ or 1/4″ are common sizes for many of the off-the-shelf kayak fishing accessories.
